Beyond books

Beyond books

At Maitland Libraries, we've simplified the process of finding the latest books, comics, graphic novels, movies, magazines and much more. Explore our extensive collection now!

Seed Library

The Maitland Seed Library is a special collaboration between Maitland Libraries and Slow Food Hunter Valley. Borrow seeds, nurture your plants and then return a portion of the harvested seeds to the library.

Toy Library

We offer toys, games, costumes and more for loan at our pop-up Toy Library. Aimed at children from 0 – preschool age, you can find something new and fresh every visit.

Audiobooks on disc

For those who prefer not to stream or like to use CD players, we have a huge range of audiobooks on disc for you to borrow. We also have a range of different formats to suit your reading style, such as larger print or dyslexic-friendly fonts. Contact us to find out more about how we can support you.

Book Clubs

Are you a part of a book club or interested in joining one? We're here to support you with a variety of resources. Maitland Libraries offer book club sets, featuring multiple copies of the same book for easy borrowing by club members.

You could also consider starting your own book club or visit upcoming events to see currently open book clubs.
